Abstract :
The design of narrowband combline filters implemented in double-layered microstrip is presented. The filters realise finite-frequency transmission zeros located within close proximity with respect to their passband edges. This is achieved by tightly coupling the resonators of the filters. Experimental evaluation of several fabricated filters demonstrates the principle.
