Abstract :
A frequency invariant power pattern is synthesised, based on the weighted least-squares criterion. An auxiliary function is introduced to transform the nonlinear synthesis problem into a linear one. The phases of the desired pattern are calculated by the simulated annealing technique, and the weighting function is iteratively modified to achieve a desired power pattern.
