Abstract :
Some comments on the correctness of the global optimization algorithms given by Yamada-Hara (Proc. American Contr. Conf. (1995); and IEEE Trans. Automat. Contr., vol.43 (1998)) are made. In reply, Yamada-Hara argue and give explanations to each of the comments made.
