Abstract :
The dual L-class of time-frequency distributions (TFDs) is introduced. A new class of TFDs is derived in which dual L-Wigner distribution (DLWD) is generalised by an approach similar to the Cohen class or the L-class of TFDs are generalised from the Wigner distribution (WD) and the L-Wigner distribution (LWD), respectively. The WD, LWD and DLWD are demonstrated by using an example in which a two-component synthetic signal is analysed
