Abstract :
A concept for the simplification of tuner architectures for digital and analog TV is presented that supports solid state integration and is based on downconversion of UHF to baseband by means of a compensated mixer architecture. I/Q imbalance impairments can be removed in the analog and the digital part of the receiver
