Special issue on electricity markets: analysis & operations [Editorial]

This Special Issue is intended to foster much needed research on tools and procedures to address challenging analysis and operations problems concerning electric energy systems working in a market environment. It is also intended to increase the visibility of such relevant problems, which interest power engineers, economists and operations research professionals.
