  • Abstract
    We demonstrate a Yb:fiber ring laser incorporating a piece of solid-core photonic bandgap fiber for intra-cavity group delay dispersion compensation. The output pulse was as short as 29 fs after a prism pair compression with a spectral bandwidth of 41 nm. The output power was 150 mW at a repetition rate of 130 MHz.
