Abstract :
We have conducted chronoamperometry using an integrated potentiostat consisting of poly-Si thin-film transistors. An electrochemical measurement of enzymatic redox reaction using glucose oxidase and ferrocene mediator is attempted as a practical example. It is found that the chronoamperogram depends on the glucose concentration, and a glucose concentration as low as 2 mM can be detected by comparing the chronoamperogram without glucose. The glucose sensitivity of the chronoamperometry is similar to that of the cyclic voltammetry and sufficient for diabetic diagnosis.
