The rock Island hydroelectric development

First electric power development on the famous Columbia River, the initial 60,000-kw Rock Island plant also is the first major low head installation on the Pacific Coast, a territory Ions famous for its high head plants, and has the largest installed capacity in adjustable-vane propeller-type wheels of any plant in the United States.
