Abstract :
For original paper see Ephraim et al. (IEEE Trans. Signal Processing, vol.43, p.2937-42, 1995 December). The results and interpretations obtained in the original paper are shown to be well known or obvious. Additionally, corrections to some misleading statements are presented.
