  • Abstract
    This theme is strongly reflected in the articles we have selected for this edition of the Consumer Communications and Networking series. This theme includes the convergence of fixed and mobile networks, as well as new device and applications integration. Fixed and mobile convergence in particular is addressed by the first article by Raj, Narayan, Datta, and Das. They discuss features and requirements of fixed mobile convergence, focusing in detail on VoIP applications and looking into the future with VVoIP applications.
