Abstract
The author comments that the first line of conjecture 5 in the paper of DeBrunner, Ozaydin and Przebinda (see ibid., vol.47, p.783-88, 1999) was proven by Dembo et al. (1991). The proof is a consequence of the properties of the discrete Renyi entropies. Conjecture 5 is a special case of the Renyi-Hirschman inequality.
