Abstract :
The author comments on the work of J.P. Le Cadre & O. Tremois (ibid. vol. 32, pp. 66-82, 1996) in which they presented a simple initialization procedure useful for target motion analysis in highly nonlinear systems. However, for the implementation of K, the rate of spatial frequency, it is suggested that the assumptions made are not realistic. Le Cadre & Tremois reply to these comments.
