The authors present an efficient numerical approach to the channel capacity evaluation of wireless infrared channels, impaired by multipath induced intersymbol interference. The major disadvantage of this technique is that it involves only one-dimensional integration as opposed to previously proposed methods which rely on multidimensional Monte Carlo integration
