  • Abstract
    An automatic speaker verification system is investigated as a means of reinforcing speech recognition security. The system´s implementation is independent of speaker population size. Given clean speech and a five digit code, 91.3% of impostor attempts at breaching security are thwarted. The corresponding figure for coded speech is 88.2%
