Iterative procedure for analysing certain networks by digital computer

The paper describes and illustrates a method of analysing linear electrical networks which can be viewed as a set of interconnected 4-terminal networks. The iterative nature of the method makes it very suitable for programming on a digital computer. Further, it is often very economical in computer time because one can use the results of previously analysed 4-terminal networks. The paper also outlines a program which has been written for the method.
