Correction to “A Singly Fed Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna With a Wideband Circular Polarization” [2010 615-618]

In the above titled letter (ibid., vol. 9, pp. 615-618, 2010), the authors have reported a singly fed rectangular dielectric resonator with a circular polarization bandwidth of 14%. This is incorrect owing to an error in processing the computed and measured axial ratio data. As a result, Fig. 4 needs to be replaced by the figure presented here, which illustrates a 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 7%. The conclusions remain valid as the achieved bandwidth is still significantly higher than the typical bandwidths of less than 3% for singly fed rectangular dielectric resonator antennas.
