Abstract :
THE annual summer convention held June 20–24 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D. C., 54th such meeting to be held by the Institute, was the first to be held in the nation´s capital city. For what is now District 2, this was the eighth summer convention, others having been held as follows : Philadelphia, Pa., 1884, 1894, 1900; Deer Park, Md., 1915; Cleveland, Ohio, 1916, 1932; White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., 1926.
