Abstract :
Hand phantoms are increasingly important in assessing the communication performance of handsets. A parametric study on tolerances of the material properties of hand phantoms is performed, showing that small variations of both relative permittivity and conductivity with respect to their nominal values hardly affect absorption and mismatch loss.
