Abstract :
A new approach to achieving simultaneous beam steering and low sidelobe levels in time-modulated linear arrays is presented. The technique relies solely on time-switching of the array elements and does not require the use of additional amplitude weighting. Numerical examples are presented for a 16-element linear array.
