Abstract
Oscilloscopes are typically calibrated using special signals for each parameter. A common method using only sine-wave signals and analysis of sampled data is proposed to calibrate all major parameters of a digital sampling oscilloscope, greatly simplifying the calibration procedure while attaining lower uncertainties. The procedure can be also fully automated as the readout from the oscilloscope screen is no longer needed.
