Abstract :
A comparison is made between two methods of obtaining two weighting functions simultaneously, using synchronised periodic binary inputs: (a) both sequences pseudorandom and of the same length, and (b) one sequence pseudorandom, the other derived from it by inverting alternate digits. It is concluded that method (a) is slightly better, and that the sequences therein may as well be two shifts of the same sequence.
