Abstract
To assist in the practical application of nondestructive eddy-current test methods, theoretical solutions have been derived for the normalised impedance of long solenoids encircling nonferrous metallic tubular conductors. Calculated values are presented in tabular form for a range of tube dimensions and test frequencies of practical interest.
