Abstract :
Having procured in a previous part of this article a good specimen in the “hunt” for the tensor, the author proceeds here to catalog most of the characteristics of the catch. Among other subjects, discussions of tensor fields, tensor notation, and rules for transformation are included in this part. The finale, part III, will give the reader an inkling of the importance of tensor applications in physics and engineering.
