Abstract :
A generalization of the polarization theory to bistatic scattering had shown that coherent scattering mechanisms are characterized by six bistatic fork parameters. The purpose of this paper is to try again to assign physical properties to these parameters as it was done in the monostatic case by Huynen. Our conclusions are validated with COSMO (Coherent Scattering Model) model and BABI (Base BIstatique) measurements.
