Double unbalances and transient analysis of power systems using R,S,T components

R,S,T components are modified ¿,ß,0 components to obtain invariant transformation of power between the 3-phase system and the component system. The components are used in the paper to obtain the equivalent circuits for various types of simultaneous unbalances in a power system, for use on the a.c. network analyser, and are also applied to the transient analysis of power-system problems. Specific examples are worked out. It is shown that the use of these components offers many advantages over the use of ¿,ß,0 components.
