Abstract :
M.D. Wallis and V. Sklenicka provide separate comments on the paper by G. Gela et al. (see ibid., vol.15, no.1, p.210-15, 2000). M.D. Wallis comments on the expected growth of use of IEC standards in the USA. V. Sklenicka comments on work practices not being in the scope of work of TC78, live washing of insulators, and fire extinguishers for HV equipment. The original authors reply to the comments.
