Abstract :
M. Negnevitsky and V. Faybisovich comment separately on the paper by S. Santoso et al. (see ibid., vol.15, no.1, p.229-35, 2000). Negnevitsky asks questions regarding the wavelet based neural classifier. Faybisovich asks questions regarding the type of wavelet chosen and the learning scheme. The original authors reply to the comments.
