Abstract :
The paper presents a simple, accurate and quick technique for the solution of a 2-machine transient-stability problem with negligible damping, constant input and constant voltage behind the transient reactance by an optimised delta method and a mean-integral delta method developed by the author in the paper. The technique is then applied to the solution of the swing equation with the assumption of constant field-flux linkages. The paper supplies a new approach for the analysis of the 2-machine transient-stability problem.
