Abstract
The paper examines a computer-controlled queuing process with a constant access cycle, in which the queue has feedback. The queuing process has a Poisson input, exponential servers and a first-come-first-served queue discipline, but the services must start at an access point because of the computer control. A simple model of the queuing process is presented. The fundamental equations and the generating function for the stationary-state probability distribution of the queuing process are derived, and a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a stationary distribution is obtained.
