Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a new error recovery protocol which minimizes the number of control packets required to achieve reliable communication. The proposed protocol adapts itself to work efficiently during congestion. A complete analysis of the performance of the proposed protocol is presented. The analytical and simulation results of the proposed scheme illustrate high throughput and limited cell delay which can be achieved with a small number of control cells.
