Welcome to the first issue of Volume 47 and to the second year of the new-look Electronics Letters. With final decisions on manuscripts made in an average of six weeks after decision, publication in print and online two to four weeks later, and an acceptance rate of 25%, Electronics Letters continues to provide a rapid and competitive forum for the latest, significant research advances. This is only possible thanks to the hard work of the contributors and we would like to extend our gratitude to the authors, the editorial team and, of course, the reviewers who play such a crucial role. We would also like to take this opportunity to share with you some of the highlights and changes that have been made over the last year.
