Abstract :
This paper study the topology and DC filter of multi function batter energy storage system(BESS). A CLC filter design method is proposed to reduce the harmonic current in DC side. Based on the CLC filter, a new topology for BESS is proposed. When charging or discharging the BESS with active power filter function, the DC current is smoothed. Simulation results prove that the work of this paper is correct.
