Screening: new wave impedance for the transmission-line analogy

New expressions for the wave impedances associated with magnetic-dipole and current-loop sources are derived. It is shown that the transmission-line equations may be used to determine the shielding effectiveness of a plane screen placed between two coaxial coils. When the new expressions for the wave impedance are inserted in the equations, excellent agreement between theory and practice is obtained.
