Abstract :
A hybrid integrated eight-channel multi-wavelength photoreceiver consisting of refracting-facet photodiodes (RFPDs) incorporated in an arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) demultiplexer has been successfully fabricated. The photoreceiver shows a high responsivity of 0.6 A/W and a very wide bandwidth of 16 GHz
