Abstract :
This paper presents, for the first time, the novel design of a dual-band crossover. The proposed circuit features planar implementation with moderate line impedance, compact layout, and widely separated frequency bands. Moreover, simple and explicit closed-form expressions are available for the exact evaluation of the line impedances. For verification, both simulated and measured results of a microstrip crossover operating at 800 MHz and 1.2 GHz are given.
