Abstract :
The digital broadcasting system (DBS) using MPEG-2 TS has been developed and launched. DBS performs at high speed and it offers video, audio and data broadcasting services. We have evolved the DBS system that adopts a terrestrial network to offer the Internet service. Therefore, the Internet service is available on the DBS environment. The DBS network is used as an access network for the Internet. The cost of this system may be reduced owing to the terrestrial network. In this paper, we suggest the configuration and the communication control mechanism for an Internet service within the DBS environment
