Abstract
Due to the completion of the Three Gorges Dam and the limited geological environmental capacity, geological hazards occur frequently in the Three Gorges Reservoir region. Therefore, evaluating the stability of the riverbed and finding potential geological hazards become very meaningful. In this paper, Interferometrie SAR technology was used to monitor the ground deformation over selected areas, and radar scattering mechanisms were studied using full polarimetric parameters for landslide identification. The ground changes information is obtained in the part with high coherence. Meanwhile, it is seen in the result that the surface scattering power becomes predominant in most disaster areas compared to those in normal situations which can be used for disasters identification.
