Abstract
Microstrip-line structures with arbitrary dimensions are simulated using subsectional basis functions on nonuniform grids in a Galerkin approach. The system matrices are compressed with especially designed wavelets on these grids and solved by a fast iterative algorithm. To further enhance accuracy and convergence, the knot sequences are optimised. Several numerical examples are presented
