Abstract :
A circular coaxial waveguide with four T-septa symmetrically placed in the inner conductor is proposed for further improving the bandwidth of the diplexers designed for diplexing signals from an ultrawide, dual-band horn. The cutoff and bandwidth characteristics of the new structure are analysed using the Ritz-Galerkin method, modified for a circular structure, and compared with those of the corresponding ridged structure. The advantages of the new proposed structure are described
