Abstract :
A Ku band tunable monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) bandpass filter based on a double varactor-tuned ring resonator with negative resistance circuits for loss compensation was designed and tested. Experimental results show a total tuning bandwidth of 2.2 GHz with the filter offering unloaded Q-factors for more than 1200 over half the tuning bandwidth
