Abstract :
The proposed method is based on a discretized integral formulation allowing the computation of both the velocity and the time variation contributions for the eddy currents occurring in moving objects. The formulation explicitly represents the velocity term and permits one to study its contribution to the total current. The validity of the method is obtained by a comparison between computed and measured data in the case of an electromagnetic axisymmetrical forming system
