Abstract :
We propose in this paper a new method to study electromagnetic wave scattering by thin sheets for three dimensional problems. The technique takes into account a dielectric sheet of complex permittivity by using a special finite element. The developed procedure is very convenient to implement within an edge element formulation. The theory and formulation of the finite element model is first described. Then, numerical computations are carried out to validate the method
