  • Abstract
This paper deals with the transient numerical analysis of electromechanical devices driven by thin wire coils. The dynamic behaviour is described by Maxwell´s equations, by the constitutive equations, and by the equations of motion. For the solution of the electromagnetic problem the BEM-FEM coupling method is used. A 3-D watch stepping motor is presented as an example
