  • Abstract
A new method has been developed to be able to calculate both the rotational and the stationary 3D-electromagnetic fields of an electric machine like a generator, a cable and a transformer connected to an electric power system. This paper describes the analytic method of the rotational electromagnetic fields inside a synchronous machine (called REMTP) which is connected to a program to analyze the power system stability (called PSNTP). By using this new analytic method, the transient phenomena of the electromagnetic fields inside a superconducting generator (SC-generator) and its power system stability are calculated simultaneously in a model power system. The constants of SC-generator for PSNTP are also calculated by REMTP
