Abstract :
Robust stability for uncertain time delay systems is studied. A delay-dependent stability criterion is derived by employing the concept of quadratic stability theory. By checking the Hamiltonian matrix and solving an algebraic Riccati equation, an upper bound on the size of the delay is presented. The present result is shown to be less conservative than others reported in the literature
