Abstract
A description language for the finite element method was developed, which can be used specifically for element-by-element (EBE) calculations on unstructured simplex-meshes. Geometry, problem type and solving method can be specified in it, furthermore adaptive mesh refinement and mesh reduction can be controlled. The language elements are defined, a possible may of problem description is investigated, and an example is presented here
