Abstract :
This paper presents two coupling models for analyzing dynamical behaviors of electromagnetic actuators. The first model is based on coupled finite element and parametrization methods. The second one is the transient coupling model, it makes use of an iterative technique for the coupled electric, magnetic and mechanical phenomena. A comparison of those models is given through the calculation of the dynamic behavior of a linear axisymmetrical actuator supplied by capacitor discharge voltage
