Abstract :
For the effective implementation of Six Sigma projects, organisations must understand the critical success factors that will make the application successful. Critical success factors represent the essential ingredients without which a project stands little chance of success. The authors present some essential ingredients for Six Sigma implementation, generated from a pilot survey conducted in UK manufacturing and service organisations.
