Abstract
The increasing use of power electronic convertors and controllers for industrial processes and drives, and in the home, enhances the problems of electromagnetic interference. The effects spread from power frequencies to radio frequencies, and hence such interference can be conducted via the supply system or radiated. New related standards and regulations will come into operation within the European Community from 1992
